Coffee Shop Work Session Day 2: Mojo’s on Magazine
Mojo’s is pretty close to my house so getting here and parking was pretty easy. Today I’m having a cappuccino and and almond croissant. The weather is BEAUTIFUL again and they’ve got the doors open.
It’s overall pretty cute in here but I’m wearing headphones because I can’t stand the annoying grunge rock and there are some men talking loudly about philosophy and alcoholics anonymous at a table nearby.
I’m also afraid to use the unisex outdoor restroom so I may work from home for the rest of the day…
I’ll be using Anderson Stockdale’s Coffee Map of New Orleans to make selections going forward…I think tomorrow will be Sound Cafe.
Update: Ran into Teylor Grey who gave an interesting tidbit about Mojo’s coffee being super strong because of the AA meetings upstairs and people coming down for coffee afterward needing some serious caffeine. It probably sounded more interesting the way Teylor explained it, though so you should ask him about it.
